If you would like to have local meetings of the IEEE Society that you belong to, the Twin Cities Section will help. There are three options: 1) Start a chapter of that society; 2) Start a new joint chapter of two or more societies; 3) Have Twin Cities Section meetings featuring a distinguished lecturer. I have corresponded with some of the societies’ executive committees (see list of IEEE Societies under links). I have received some membership lists and plan to send e-mails to the local members of the societies. If there is any interest in a local chapter, we can start a chapter. Most of the societies have distinguished lecturers. We can set up initial chapter meetings and have the lecturers speak. Please contact me if you are interested.
